The 2nd EBS was probably the “biggest” beaver meeting in the history of beaver science. 60 participants from 17 countries (including 1 Castor canadensis from Maine) shared their knowledge and their enthuisiams about this fascinating creature. A wonderful dinner, a romantic campfire and an interesting field trip to the “water-free” beavers of Biebrza National Park gave the opportunities for international socializing.
